Monthly OM Film Fest
in the Kansas City, Metro Area
that will take place next at the
Standees Theaters at Prairie Village, KS
(10 minutes from the Plaza).
Filmmakers receive 50% of the box office ticket sales.

OM Film Fest is creating an open door for independent filmmakers to screen their feature length films, and OM Film Fest is introducing the concept of “Fair Trade” to the independent filmmaking industry.  The filmmakers of all the independent films, features or shorts, screened at OM Film Fest will receive 50% of the box office sales. OM Film Fest is working hard to change the independent film industry from a charitable contribution base, to a ROI (return on investment) base.

Submission Process

  1. Submit your feature length film to OM Film Fest through FilmFreeway using the link above. Be sure to select the submission category, “Kansas City Metro Filmmaker Feature Length Films.” The submission fee is $25. This fee is non-refundable.

  2. Sell a minimum of 50 $10 tickets for your film to your friends and family.

  3. Once you sell 50 tickets, your film will be screened at the next OM Film Fest, currently scheduled for monthly screenings at Standees Theaters at Prairie Village, (3935 W 69th Terrace, Prairie Village, KS 66208) and you will receive a minimum of $250 (50% of the box office sales for your film).

  4. Continue to sell tickets to your film’s screening to get as many people as you can to come see your work of art, and receive 50% of all the ticket sales you make. For example, sell 100 tickets to your family, friends, classmates, etc., and receive $500 for screening your film. It’s that simple.
